BOOKING CONFIRMATION & PAYMENTS
1.1 BOOKING CONFIRMATION & DEPOSIT
A booking is not considered confirmed until the client agrees to the Terms & Conditions, pays the deposit and receives confirmation from Neon Light Lab.
1.2 BOND
Our signs require a $50.00 to $100.00 bond (Dependant on sign) that is refundable upon return of the neon in original and working condition. We will advise bond amount required upon enquiry.
1.3 BALANCE
The balance of the booking cost must be paid within 10 days of the booking date. If the balance is not received by then, the booking will be cancelled, & the client will forfeit the deposit.
DELIVERY & RETURN
2.1 COURIER DELIVERY
Our signs are couriered with a tracking number and return consignment note, which requires a signature. Delivery is marked complete when the tracking number deems that delivery was successful. Neon Light Lab is not responsible in the instance of non-delivery to final destination if tracking shows otherwise. Neon Light Lab reserves the right to invoice the cost price of the sign in the instance of the item going missing throughout the event hire process.
2.2 PACKAGING
On return, hire items must be packaged securely using the bubble wrap provided. All items must be returned together, including the dimmer remote (If provided with one) power cords.
2.3 TIME FRAMES
Hire items will be sent 2 days prior to the date required. They must be returned 2 days after the date required (or before).
INSTALLATION
3.1 POWER REQUIREMENTS
The client must ensure that there is a power supply available for the neon sign. Our neon signs come with 2 metres of clear cord, 1.5 metres of black LED adapter and an additional 1.5 metres of black power cord (5 metres in total).
3.2 NEON SIGNS - HANGING
Your neon artwork is fitted with strategically placed drill holes which are each capable of holding the weight of the neon. Use these to fix your neon sign to your desired location. Included in your mounting kit is beaded wire, nylon line or a chain. Any of these can be used to hang your sign. (Depending on what sign you have hired) If using the beaded wire, please be sure to crimp the edges of the wire using pliers. To ensure safety please only mount the device to a structure capable of supporting weight of 5kg or more. This could be in the form of an existing hook, nail or screw fixed to an existing wall. The device should be mounted out of the reach of children. Please also ensure any hanging cords are out of reach of children.
3.3 LOCATION
The sign is designed for indoor use or outdoor (undercover) use only. Refrain from mounting in a situation where it may be subject to any moisture, water or rain. Under no circumstance should our neon signs be left outside overnight. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure our equipment is brought inside and secured appropriately
DAMAGES, & LIABILITY
4.1 DAMAGES
Any damage to Neon Light Lab’s property during the client’s event caused by the client, client’s guests or any other person in attendance at the event whether invited or not, will result in the cost to repair/replace the equipment. All equipment must be returned in the same condition.
4.2 LIABILITY
Neon Light Lab accepts no liability for any direct or consequential damage, loss, or expense sustained or incurred by the hirer, venue or any other parties. Neon Light Lab will not be held responsible for any circumstances outside their control. This includes, but is not limited to, fire, riot, civil commotion, accidents, acts of nature and equipment failure.
CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
5.1 CHANGES
Requests for changes of the event date must be made at least 30 days before the original event date. A date change is subject to availability and receipt of a new Booking Form.
5.2 CANCELLATIONS (BY THE CLIENT)
Any money paid (including the deposit) will be fully refunded if the cancellation is made no later than 30 days before the event date.
5.3 CANCELLATIONS (BY NEON LIGHT LAB)
Neon Light Lab may cancel any booking at any time (in extreme circumstances). Please note we would do everything in our control to prevent this from happening. If on the rare chance that this occurs, the client will receive a full refund.
USE OF IMAGES & TECHNICAL ISSUES
6.1. USE OF IMAGES
Neon Light Lab has the right and permission to use photographs taken of their displayed items for reproduction, advertisement, promotional and marketing purposes (unless stated otherwise). If a client asks Neon Light Lab to withdrawal or remove any photos from such material, Neon Light Lab will comply immediately.
6.2. TECHNICAL ISSUES
If your neon sign is not illuminating when powered on, the client must contact Neon Light Lab immediately. Neon Light Lab will do everything in their power to rectify any issues. If on the rare chance this occurs, the client will receive a full refund.
